What to Expect:
It begins with a telephone conversation to answer your initial questions.

We'll usually plan to meet at your property, where I will listen to your ideas about your project, exploring your thoughts about design, use of space, and cost concerns. When I have a clear idea of what you want, I draw up a proposal for our services, detailing the project, our services to you, and our fee schedule.

We then start measuring the existing spaces to produce initial scaled drawings, and then conduct a zoning and code analysis to let us know exactly what will be allowed.

The next step is design, in which we work together to develop a workable solution that fits your needs. Once a design solution meets our mutual approval, we build on the design drawings and complete the documents needed for construction, permit application, and obtaining bids from contractors. When a contractor is selected and a permit is awarded, the fun begins as it all starts taking shape during the construction process. We stay involved during construction through building completion, with periodic site visits to review work in place, solve open issues and deal with unforeseen conditions.
